How to get Dawn Stones in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

You only need a few to get the basic job done

Some item farming in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet can get tricky or downright annoying. While there are some avenues for mass material acquisition, and select items have guaranteed drops, not every item type is so lucky. Here are the ꧑best places to find Dawn Stones, and what they do.

What do Dawn Stones do in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?

Dawn Stones are once agai❀n used for evolving Pokemon. All you need to do is have a Pokemon who can evolve via a Dawn Stone. Then, select the item from your bag, and🔯 select that Pokemon.

Here ൩are all the evolutions you can trigger through a Dawn Stone:

• Snorunt (♀)-> Froslass
• Kirlia (♂) -> Gallade

Grab all the shiny spots you can off the ground in West Province (Area Three)

I had a lot of luck finding Dawn Stones in West Province (Area Three), around Zappapico. To find it, just head north around the great crater, above the town of Medali. Head into the mountains and look fo🍎r shiny spots on the ground: they could contain Dawn Stones.

Your Pokedex will give you one for free once you’ve caught 270 Pokemon

After catching 270 Pokemon and recording them in your Pokedex,𒉰 go to the Pokedex menu (X) and earn it from the reward track.

You can also head back to the Porto Marinada auction house

While this tip applies to a variety of items, it could also be the path of least resistance. Go to the seaside town of Porto Marinada, which is found along the west coast of Paldea. Go into the center area and talk to the auction house: and a Dawn Stone could be offered there. If not, check back the next ꦗday.
