Sorcery: Contested Realm is a highly sought-after TCG that had an incredibly successful Kickstarter run for its Alpha set, and its Beta set sold out very quickly. Now, players will be able to 🎉earn rewards from their purchases, including 🥂exclusive cards, sleeves, and more.
Launching a product in the same space as Magic: The Gathering should be challenging because that TCG is already so massively popular. However, Sorcery: Contested Realm proved that it’s possible and has managed to adopt a fan base that’s so hungry for its products that you can barely find any Beta Boosters online, and the Alpha set has more than tripled in price through resale websites. Now, there’s a way for any player to get even more out of the products they’ve purchased through Dust Rewards.
How to get Dust Rewards for Sorcery Contested: Realm
To get Dust Rewards in Sorcery: Contested Realm, you must own an Alpha product from the game’s Kickstarter. Somewhere on the box will be a barcode, which you can use on the to add Dust to your account. You’ll use this currency to purchase exclusive items from the .
Rewards range in price from 200 to 2000 Dust. Players pay the postage costs for these items, but they are free outside of their Dust cost. Some items will also drop with unique costs now and then, so it’s worth keeping an eye out to ensure you don’t miss them.
The team behind Sorcery: Contested Realm will be monitoring the store and has requested that players only purchase one of each reward. If they see an abuse of this system, they’ll need to step in and could even delete your account.
How to get more Dust from Sorcery: Contested Realm
To get more Dust from Sorcery: Contested Realm, you must purchase packs and booster boxes of cards and play the game in local game stores and tournaments. By redeeming codes and playing events at registered game stores, you’ll be able to earn a lot of Dust each month if you play competitively.
At the time of writing, Dust is exclusive to Kickstarter rewards and Beta products, so the rest of us can’t quite start building up our stash just yet from buying cards. However, now that the system is live, we can earn Dust from participation in games at the community level.
You can only earn 100 Dust per month, picking up 30 Dust. from a small event of four people learning to play, with up to 70 Dust on offer for those in ꩲa Constructed Tournament with 64 players or more.
You’ll also earn bonus Dust from winning specific events, which varies based on the number of players and the event you’re running. I’ve included an image of how this reward system for playing well works above. It’s designed to help give those players who are really putting in the effort, learning the game, and showing off their skills the boost and added rewards they deserve.
