Possibly one of the cutest mounts to ever be added to Final Fantasy XIV has come with Dawntrail, the Ty’aitya mount. It’s a Sugar Glider mount that’s worth getting, if you don’t mind putting the blood🍸, sweat,𒆙 and tears in.
Getting your hands on the Ty’aitya mount the ‘official’ way is going to be a grind, regardless of how you look at it. If you’re flush with Gil, you could always purchase it on the Marketboard, but the only example I have to go by is the single one on Goblin, which is currently selling for 400 million Gil.
How to get Turali Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers in Final Fantasy XIV
This process is going to be broken🦩 down into a few ste𝔍ps:
First, you need to complete your Shared FATEs in every area of Dawntrail. This is necessary to unlock the Bicolor Gemstone Traders in Tuliyollal and Solution Nine, and you’re going to need them unlocked, because they’re the only vendors who sell Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers. The Gemstone Trader in Tuliyollal can be found in the Bayside Bevy Martketplace at (X:12.8, Y:13.1), while the one in Solution Nine can be found at (X:8.4, Y:14.0).
Turali Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers cost 100 Bicolor Gemstones each, and you’re going to need 500 of them. Doing the math, you’re going to need 50,000 Bicolor Gemstones to purchase enough Turali Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers. Only Vouchers purchased in Tuliyollal count, so you can’t use Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers purchased in Shadowbringers or Endwalker.
Next, you’re going to need to do a lot of FATEs, and I really do mean a lot. Doing even more math, if you get roughly 16 Bicolor Gemstones f🗹rom each FATE you do, you’re going to need to do roughly 3,000 FATEs (give or take) to stock up enough Turali Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers.
Where to get the Ty’aitya mount in Final Fantasy XIV
Once you’ve completed enough FATEs and purchased all of your Vouchers, head to Mor Dhona and visit Edelina (X:22.1, Y:4.9𒐪). Select Bicolor Gemstone Voucher Exchange, and you’ll find the Ty’aitya Whistle for sale here.
Once 🍎you’ve purchased the Whistle, use i🌳t from within your inventory and you’ll then be able to summon your very own Ty’aitya.
