If you’re willing to work, you can get the first Battle Pass for Apex Legends Season 22 Shockwave for 💞free. This will allow you to access every item💫 in the Battle Pass, including some pretty amazing skins for Legends and weapons and various currencies.
Starting with Season 22 in Apex Legends, every season will have two Battle Passes moving forward. They’re split across the first and second half of each season, giving players more to grind for and, hopefully, a more exciting season overall. While other Battle Passes will cost you Apex Coins, the first one for Season 22 can be acquired for free if you just complete a few in-game tasks while playing as you normally would.
How to get the free Battle Pass in Apex Legends Season 22 Shockwave
Completing the allocated set of challenges will earn you the free Battle Pass in Apex Legends Season 22 Shockwave. These challenges are specifically listed for you under the Challenges tab, so scroll along to open it, and you’ll see them. The challenges you must complete to get the free Battle Pass are as follows.
- Play 2 matches in Trios E-District
- Deal 1,000 damage as a Recon Legend
- Deal 1,000 as a Controller Legend
- Open 15 supply bins
- Deal 500 damage with Akimbos in BR
- Complete 10 levels of the Battle Pass
You can complete all of these challenges in a few Trios matches on E-District, the new map with Season 22. The only thing that might give you trouble is dealing with enough trouble across each Legend type. We all have our favorite Legends, but to unlock the premium tier of the Battle Pass for free, it’s worth jumping in as whoever you have unlocked until you’ve completed the challenge.
Developer Respawn Entertainment announced that this first Battle Pass for the season would be free in Apex Legends after the massive backlash from fans when it was initially ♌revealed that Ba🌟ttle Passes could no longer be purchased using Apex Coins.
For now, it looks like there will still be two Battle Passes with every season, but you’ll be able to earn enough Apex Coins from the first Battle Pass to unlock the second one. There should also be enough Apex Coins in that second Battle Pass to see you through the next season’s Battle Passes and so on.
This system has allowed Apex Legends players to pay for a Battle Pass once, and, provided they complete the Battle Pass, they can avoid paying for another one until they miss earning enough Apex Coins. This has been part of the game since it was initially released, so it’s understandable that fans didn’t like it when the developer wanted to change things.
