How to get the Lightning Stag Sword Durendal in Black Ops 6 Zombies

The Citadelle de Morts map brings out the magical side of Call of Duty with its elemental swords. You’ll encounter four of these tools, each with its own power. For this guide, we’ll focus on how to unlock the Lightning Stag Sword Durendal in Black Ops 6 Zombies.

BO6 Zombies Stag Sword guide

All elemental swords require grabbing a Stamp from a zombie with a bucket-looking head. Then, take the Stamp over to the Knight room at the F1 coordinates and press Interact (reload button) near the Stag Knight statue. You’ll gain the Stag Bastard Sword, taking you on another adventure to find three Lightning Rods.

How to get Lightning Rods in BO6 Zombies

Go to the Dead Shot Daquiri Perk machine at the D6 coordina�♏�tes for the first Lightning Rod.

You’ll find it lying near the machine to the left.

Now, acquire the Dead Wire Shot Ammo Mod from any Arsenal Machine. Use it to shoot an electrical box at G5 coordinates.

The box will be to the right of th🍰e Speed Cola Perk machine, next to some stairs. Shoot it with the Dead Wire Ammo to🤡 spawn the following Lightning Rod.

The final Lightning Rod drops from an Armored Zombie. Based on my experience and other players, this zombie tends to spawn in the Pack-a-Punch machine room at the lower floor E2 coordinates.

An Armored Zombie will have a Lightning Rod stic🐼king out of its body, dropping it on the ground after killing i🌺t.

How to use Lightning Rods in BO6 Zombies

To use the Lightning Rods, go to the pathway toward the cannon at D4 coordinates.

You’ll see a mechanism there that can hold all three rods. Interact with it, and it will begin to light up.

Equip your Stag Bastard Sword and eliminate enemies until the weapon produces a lightning effect. Next, hit the mechanism while the sword is lit up.

Perform this step three times, and place your Stag Bastard Sword inside. It’ll be relatively challenging, especially while solo, but you can always run away and come back to it if the going gets tough. However, Lightning Rods will be removed from the mechanism when you step away, so put them back afterward and try again.

I suggest clearing out most of the zombies and saving some to ensure the next round doesn’t trigger (fewer zombies to deal with). Go to the mechanism and focus on killing the zombies with purple eyes, as these undead are the ones that spawn for this particular quest. I noticed that killing purple-eyed zombies won’t trigger the following round, hence why you should stick to these enemies.

After hitting the mechanism three times and placing the sword, be aware that it takes a few seconds to activate. In return, you can pat yourself on the back for earning the Lightning Stag Sword Durendal in BO6 Zombies. Use the sword to electrify zombies, making it much easier to bring them down.
