Cooking meals in Disney Dreamlight Valley is a thoroughly enjoyable experience. All you do is select ingredients, throw them in, and 🐠you get a whole meal out of it. However, cookin💯g multiple meals can get tiresome because you need to do them individually.
This was somewhat rectified in the Rift in Time DLC with the addition of the Ancient Cooker, but this isn’t useful if you don’t own the DLC or don’t have time to hoard up on the Mist needed to use it. Thankfဣully, there’s now another option, thanks to the Tales of Agrabah update.
As of February 26, all players will gain access to something called a Slow Cooker that can be used for any of the hundreds of recipes currently included in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Here’s 🌳how to unlock, craft, and use this 𓄧god-tier piece of equipment.
How to unlock the Slow Cooker in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Unlocking the Slow Cooker in Disney Dreamlight Valley is actua✤lly remarkably easy, and it seems that everyone will have access to the unlock quest as long as they’ve brought Tiana to the Village.
Once she’s in the Village, you should be able to pick up a quest with her called “Slow and Steady.” This is the quest tha🐈t will eventually unlock the Slow Cooker in all of its glory, but you’ll need to craft the appliance first.
How to craft the Slow Cooker in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Slow Cooker is ♛an absolute godsend, but that does mean tha♕t there’s a fairly hefty amount of resources needed to craft it:
- 6 Iron Ingots
- Crafted using 5 Iron Ore and 1 Coal Ore
- 2 Tinkering Parts
- Crafted using 2 Iron Ingots
- Each craft will result in 3 Tinkering Parts
- 20 Hardwood
- Foraged from the ground in Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, and Frosted Heights
- 20 can be purchased from Kristoff’s Stall as part of his rotating stock
- Dropped when removing Big Tree Stumps
- 2,500 Dreamlight
- Obtained by completing Dreamlight Duties
- Crafted using 10 Dream Shards per 250 Dreamlight
Once you’ve got all of these resources, you can head to any Crafting Statio𝔉n and find the Slow Cooker under the “Functional Items” tab. Once you’ve crafted your Slow Cooker, you can❀ then place it anywhere in the Valley.
How to use the Slow Cooker in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Using the Slow Cooker is basically identical to using any other Cooking Station in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but you’ll need to make sure you have ♊enough ingredients to make multiple of whatever dish you plan to make.
After inteꦬrꦍacting with the Slow Cooker, the following menu will pop up:

Select “Select Ingredients”, and then you can 🍨search through the recipes using the new search tool. 🌸When you’ve selected a recipe, throw in all of the ingredients and then select “Start Cooking” to be taken back to the original menu.
Now, select “Cook” on the right-hand side and choose how many of the dish you want to make. Like the Ancient Cooker, you’ll need to spend some resources per dish, but in this case, its Dreamlight. It doesn’t matter whether you’re cooking a 1-star or a 5-star recipe, each dish costs 25 Dreamlight to make.
Once you’re happy, confirm your choice, and your chosen meals will be cooked in the background. Each recipe takes some time, so you’ll need to leave the Slow Cooker working its🤪 magic while you go off and do other things. The process stops once you leave the game, and will resume again🥂 when you log back in.
