Pirates invaded the Fisch world with the Forsaken Shores update, and they brought their treasures with them, including nuclear bombs! Finding the treasures can be complicated as there are no in-game tips, but we’ve got your back. Here is everything you need to know about Treasure Maps and Nukes and how to get them in the Fisch Roblox experience.

How to Get a Treasure Map in Fisch
The only way to get a Treasure Map in is by fishing with a rod. Each time you make a catch (collecting Crab Cages and opening Crates won’t count as catches), there is a small chance (~1/500, from my experience) to get a Treasure Map together with whatever you caught. Luck boosts, weather, events, etc., do seem to influence their drop rates, but we’ll need more testing to back up that claim.
How to Fix and Use a Treasure Map
After you get a map, you’ll need to fix it to reveal the Y and Z coordinates of the Treasure Chest. You can do that at the Jack Marrow NPC (-2820, 215, 1520) on the Forsaken Shore for C$250. He is located on the top floor of the skull-shaped cave at the end of the cove.
Know that if you do not fix the treasure map, the chest will not spawn, and there will be no way to find it. Also, it seems that if you fix a map and then disconnect from the server, you won’t be able to find that treasure anymore.
However, there is a chance that if you rejoin the same server, it’ll still be on the map and claimable. So, if you plan to fix a map, it might be best to join a private server instead of a random public one.
Now, after you’ve fixed the treasure map, you can use the GPS tool to find the exact coordinates of the Treasure Chest. You can buy the GPS tool on the chair at the Moosewood Pond for C$100. The treasure chest can spawn underwater as well, so it’s useful to get the diving gear and floppers, too.
Treasure Map Loot Table & Why You Should Save Them For Now
- Fish — The fish can have the Sunken mutation (8.25x value).
- Bait — Any type of bait, including Truffle Worms.
- Crates — Quality Bait Crates, Common Crates, Carbon Crates, etc.
- Totems — Aurora Totem, Tempest Totem, Sundial Totem, etc.
- Enchant Relics — Used to enchant rods.
- Fillionaire Lottery Tickets — Reward C$ and a special achievement.
- Bobbers — The only way to obtain Gold Coin, Compass, Whaley, and Meteor Stone.
- Sunken Rod — You can get the Sunken Rod from Treasure Chests only, and it isn’t a guaranteed drop. It seems that the chance is ~1/50 at the moment. It’s best you save Treasure Maps until they boost the Sunken Rod drop chances.
How to Get and Use a Nuke (Nuclear Bomb) in Fisch
Similarly to Treasure Maps, the only way to get a Nuke (Nuclear Bomb) in Fisch is by fishing with a rod. It will randomly appear with the catch with an extremely low chance (~1/10,000, it seems).
After the catching mini-game, you’ll need to complete a skill check in order to store it (you can then manually use it later from your inventory). If you fail the skill check, the nuke will be detonated immediately.
What Does a Nuke Explosion Do?
When a Nuke explodes, it creates an event area that lasts for about 30 minutes, similar to a Shark Hunt. All caught fish in that area will then have the Nuclear mutation (x3 value). The Nuclear mutation doesn’t stack with other common mutations such as Atlantean, Mythical, Darkened, etc.
Best Rods, Locations, & Baits For Farming Treasure Maps and Nukes
This still hasn’t been confirmed by the Fisch developers, but Treasure Map and Nuke catch chances seem to be affected by Aurora Borealis and other Luck Boosts. On the other hand, the location where you fish doesn’t matter. So, try to fish at whichever spot is currently the best for level farming and money making.
Also, collecting Crab Cages and opening various Crates can’t get you a Nuke or a Treasure Map, so the only option is to fish with a rod. To help you out, here is the list of the best rod and bait combos to catch them as often as possible:
- No-Life Rod [Quality] + Super Flakes
- Trident Rod [Hasty] + Rapid Catcher/Super Flakes
- Aurora Rod [Hasty] + Seaweed
- Mythical Rod [Hasty] + Seaweed
- Sunken Rod [Hasty] + Seaweed
