Stamina = health
Healing is one of the staple features of the role-playing genre and video games in general. But Loop8: Summer of Gods isn’t your typical RPG. In fact, it’s , but that’s beside the point. It’s still a game where your character forms a party and fights monsters. And in those fights, it’s likely your character will get hurt. Because there are no items to use in battle in Loop8, you’ll need to figure out a differ﷽ent way to heal Nini should he be getting low on𝓡 health.
Thankfully, it’s easy to do.
Before you try to heal, it’s important to remember which icon is which. The green heart is considered your stamina. If Nini’s stamina hits zero, he’s looping back to day one. The blue heart is energy. Each action you use in battle will drain Nini’s energy. Your battle partners have the same meters, and if their stamina hits zero, they’reℱ dead until your next loop.
If you need to restore someꦛ stamina (health) or energy in battle, you select Nini at the start of the turn. This will bring up a few actions. If you select “I gotta be more careful,” Nini will spend energy to restore some of his stamina. If you select “I’m so tired…,” he’ll recover energy.
It’s as simple as that. Just remember this is an option whe꧟n you hit the final f💛ew boss battles of Loop8 because you might need extra help. Outside of battle, there are several ways to recover stamina and energy. You can eat at the restaurant or cafe, you can talk to Saru who will often give you candy, and when you break the barrier in the Mirror version of Ashihara, the energy and stamina for your full party will be restored.
