How to holster weapons in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

Put that away, already.

You don’t always need to go in with guns (or arrows) blazing in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Many of the weapons you can equip take a good chunk of screen space, and it doesn’t always make sense to have them out. Here’s how you can holster your weapons in Avatar: FoP.

There are a multitude of weapons you can wield in Avatar: FoP. You start with options like the simple Longbow before acquiring more powerful items like the Shortbow and Spear Thrower. But let’s also not forget the RDA guns, such as the stupidly powerful shotgun. Seriously, is there anything stronger than the shotgun at close range in this game? But you may not always want to walk around showing off your arsenal.

You can holster your weapons easily in Avatar: FoP

To holster your weapons in Avatar: FoP, you need to hold down the ‘Y’ or ‘triangle button’ on a controller or tap the ‘T key’ on a keyboard. You can remap the buttons or key at any time you wish. All you need to do is open up the ‘Settings’ menu and navigate to ‘Controls’. Scroll down until you see ‘Controller Remapping’ to remap the controller buttons, or ‘Keyboard and Mouse Remapping’ for the keyboard. The button or key you need to change is for ‘Holster’, just in case you forgot.

Is there a reason you need to holster weapons?

There’s no real pressing need to holster your weapons in Avatar: FoP. Mostly, it’s best to do so since you can’t use them in camps and they take up valuable screen space when you have them out. Characters don’t seem to get bothered if you have a bow or gun in your hands. In the end, holstering your weapons is just a good way to get them out of your face so you can soak in the Pandoran atmosphere.
