How to make a Gold Lamp in Disney Dreamlight Valley

A lamp without a genie? Unfathomable.

While youā€™re running around the veritable maze that is Agrabah in Disney Dreamlight Valley, trying desperately (or maybe just me?) to unlock both Aladdin and Jasmine as residents in the Valley, youā€™ll face šŸ¼a lot of tasks.

One such task, included as a step in the ā€œBreaking Throughā€ quest with Jasmine, will appear directly after you find all of the parts and reconstruct the Alchemy Table in the Artisan DistrictšŸ . This step will require you to craft a Gold Lamp that can be used to absorb the Windcallerā€™s Vortex.Ā

You’ve likely been in the Aladdin Realm for a while by this point and already upgraded your Royal Pickaxe to destroy the sharp crystals littering the Realm. If youā€™ve been destroying them as you go, you will have stocked up on the main ingredient needed to make the Gold Lamp ā€” Gold Shards.Ā

After destroying all of the sharp crystals within the Realm, I managed to stock up on 81 Gold SharšŸŒŸds, although drop rates may varyā™‹.

Other than the Gold Shards, youā€™ll ź¦œalso need to find a Lamp Mold. This Lamp Mold can be found buried somewhere withšŸ€…in the Artisan District, and itā€™s not too far away from where you begin this part of the quest.

If you stand facing the Alchemy Tablš”‰e, youā€™ll see some stairs to the left. In the little alcove to the left of these stairs, youā€™ll find a dig spot:

The Lamp Mold you need can be found in this dig spot, so use your Royš“†al Shovel to get it out and then move on to crafting the Gold Lamp to completeā™Œ the step.Ā

To make the Gold Lamp, youā€™ll need the following:

  • 18 Gold Shards
  • 1 Lamp Mold

Once youā€™ve made the Gold Lamp, youā€™re free to returnź§‹ to Jasmine (who should be right behind you when you get to this point) and complete the quest.

With that done, you can move on to help Aladdin by completing his Wish Magic quest.
