It’s an island code away

Epic Games has added “Creative 2.0” tools to Fortnite, and the community is already doing some amazing things with them. Here’s a quick rundown of what Creative 2.0 actually is, and how you can play the OG Fortnite map in it.

What is Creative 2.0?

In short, Creative 2.0 is a new set of tools that allows players to vastly expand upon the “Creative” system in Fortnite: whe🌞re folks were able to craft anything from Easter egg hunts to deathmatches to full-on story maps.

:

“Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) is a new PC application for designing, developing, and publishing games and experiences directly into Fortnite. UEFN works side-by-side with Fortnite’s existing Creative toolset, and teams of creators can work together across PC and console to develop and test islands in real-time. Over time, UEFN will evolve to feature most of the same tools available in Unreal Engine. Today in the public beta, UEFN enables a wide variety of games and experiences ranging from highly stylized cel-shaded team combat to ultra-realistic sims, playable right inside the Fortnite you already have installed.”

To play the OG Fortnite map in Creative 2.0, enter this code

Thanks to the power of Creative 2.0, the original Fortnite map is available in its [mostly] full glory thanks to the community. To get there, you’ll need to change modes (to the right of the lobby screen), and select the “island code” option.

Simply input or paste in this island code:

2179-7822-3395

You’ll be whisked away to “Atlas OG Battle Royale” from AtlasCreative, which will queue up the Chapter 1 map. At present it supports 50 players, as well as all points of interest and the original loot pool. More updates are teased throughout 2023.
