While you’re being swept along by the main story of Tape 1, it’s worth paying attention to the list of achievements available in Bloom & Rage. In Tape 1, there are✤ 30 to unlock and some of them might require multiple replays of certai💃n chapters or scenes.

One of these achievements is “Heartbreak”, and you get it for unlocking one of the Lovelocks on the fence that encircles Kat’s dad’sꦿ ranch. 🐎;

During one of the first flashbacks to 1995, when Swann is out exploring the woods on her own, you’ll come across a fence that has multiple padlocks attached to it. These are “Lovelocks”, placed on a fence (or more regularly a bridge) to denote the longevity of a relationship. You won’t be able to remove a Lovelock at this point but remem🌺ber this location for a future moment💖.

Later on, when🌳 you meet up with Autumn in 2022 and she reveals the suspicious package addressed to Bloom & Rage, you’ll enter another flashback with her, Nora, and Kat. Back at the trail, you’ll film the music vi♎deo and return to this fence.

While there are a lot of Lovelocks on this fence, you’ll only be able to remove a certain one that has the names of Dylan and Corey o💞n it. This Lovelock is located on the left side of the fence, and has a numerical code to figure out.

At this point, I’m not sure if there’s a ‘proper’ way to figure out the code for this lock. There may be a point later on in the game where the right code is revealed as part of the story, but if there is, I haven’t got there yet. If I do uncover a legitimate way to figure out this code, I’ll update this accordingly.

However, I don’t like leaving things unfinished and have insteaꦕd dedicated some time (over an hour, but who’s co🧸unting?) to try out random numerical combinations to try and get this Lovelock open. So that nobody out there has to go through the same frustration, here’s the code you’ll need:

0827

Once you’ve got the code input correctly, the lock will spring open and you’ll receive the Heartbreak achievement. ༺The Lovelock will remain on the fence, but hanging open and, in a game where every action has a consequeꩲnce, who knows what this will eventually mean for Dylan and Corey?
