What makes Yuri shine amidst Coral Island‘s various heartthrobs is her green hair and striking dragon tattoo that starts at her shoulder and extends to her arm. On top of her amazing design, she has a cool backstory as a traveling volunteer doctor who settled down.

Between these facts and her approachable personality, it’s pretty easy to fall for her. Thankfully it’s not too hard to have her feel the same, but for anyone who wants to speed up the process, a few pointers could help.

Where to find Yuri in Coral Island

What makes Yuri fairly breezy to romance is her general closeness to where the player is. Her and her housemate Millie’s house is next to the player’s farm, making many encounters relatively natural.

If not at home, she will spend Mondays to Thursdays hanging out in Starlet Town’s square between leaving home at 7 AM and working at the clinic around 10 AM. By 2 PM, she’ll walk around the lake before returning home at 7 PM. On most Fridays, her schedule is the same but moved an hour ahead with coffee in the town square replacing the lake walk.

As rude as it may seem, going to her work is the best way of consistently talking to her if players don’t see her in the morning. While she’s open to conversation when reading in the graveyard or relaxing on the beach, she spends a lot of recreational time playing chess at the Beach Shack or pool in Fishensips. During those latter activities, she is labeled as busy and unable to talk.

Romancing Yuri in Coral Island

Like most characters, the fastest way to Yuri’s heart is by gifting her material things. In her case, what she’s most receptive to is mostly food. The things she loves most are:

  • Green and Red Curry
  • Chocolate Chip Muffins
  • Fish Sandwiches
  • Spicy Sauerkraut

Since cooking is a pain and requires resources, she will be equally happy with Frogfish and Lobsters. Both are relatively easy cat﷽ches by the beach and also come by fairly often. While varying gifts are nice, Yuri will be as pleased with the first lobster as she is with the fifth.

At a certain point in the player and Yuri’s relationship, some scenes will play out between them. Although the dialogue choices don’t appear to have much effect on the relationship, it’s safer to make any choices involving her and the player spending more time together.

Upon reaching eight hearts with Yuri, players will need to gift her a signifying their feelings. This is required for romancing all eligible characters in Coral Island an✅d bec🎀omes available after reaching this point with someone.

Lockets are only available through the Sanchez Brothers Blacksmith and cost 1,500 coins. If the player isn’t dating someone already, Yuri will instantly say yes to being the player’s girlfriend when asked.

Even if players don’t interact with her every day or gift the items she loves, it won’t take that long to romance Yuri. I spent most of my time gifting her things she liked and avoiding things she hated such as bouquets. Despite not being the most optimized method, she and my character got together by the start of Fall.

By optimally playing and only giving her what she loves, she can easily be romanced by the end of Summer. However approached, it’s not hard to develop a burning heart over this doctor’s breezy personality.
