But just like a man is nothing more than a miserable pile of secrets (c’mon, you knew this was coming), you will first need to meet the Dark Lord to unlock him. Here’s how to unlock Dracula in Vampire Survivors Ode to Castlevania.

How to unlock Dracula in Vampire Survivors Ode to Castlevania

Once at the Castlevania stage, you can unlock Dracula in Vampire Survivors by heading to his throne room while playing as Richter Belmont (you can check out how to unlock Richter by heading further down). As you can see below, the throne room will be located at the ve✃ry top of the castle, past tꦦhe Abbadon boss fight.

Unlike how their battle played out in Rondo of Blood, Dracula X Chronicles, and Symphony of the Night, and although his location will be marked with a Skull, Dracula is not a boss here. Instead, upon performing a comical reenactment of their classic confrontation, the vampire will immediately join your squad and unlock the stage’s true final boss, Death. After defeating Death, you will both complete the stage and become able to get 20 secret characters, including fan favorites like Isaac.

How to unlock Richter Belmont in Vampire Survivors

You can unlock Richter Belmont in Vampire Survivors by evolving the Guardian’s Targe into the Sacred Beasts Tower Shield. You can perform the evolution by opening a chest while having both the weapon at max level and a Pummarola in your inventory.

If you have yet to unlock the Targe, you will get it together with Maria Renard. But don’t go thinking that will be easy, as you will only be able to get her after unlocking a series of 12 characters, including most of the Belmonts. To be more specific, here’s a step-by-step guide on everything you will need to do to unlock both Maria and Richter:

  • Open the first coffin in the Castlevania map to get Leon Belmont. Kill the Giant Medusa Head with him to unlock Trevor Belmont.
  • Defeat the Doppelganger with Trevor to unlock Alucard.
  • Evolve Alucard’s Alucart Sworb into the Alucard Swords to unlock Christopher Belmont.
  • Evolve Christopher’s Jet Black Whip to unlock Simon Belmont.
  • Evolve Simon’s Wind Whip into the Spirit Tornado Tip to unlock Juste Belmont.
  • Open the second coffin in Dracula’s Castle to unlock Julius Belmont.
  • Defeat the Gergoth with Julius to unlock Soma Cruz.
  • Evolve Soma’s Hand Grenade into The RPG to unlock Jonathan Morris.
  • Evolve Jonathan’s Javelin into the Long Inus to unlock Eric Lecarde and get access to the Alucard Spear.
  • Unlock Charlotte Aulin by getting seven Mirrors of Truth after unlocking the Capra Gate.
  • Evolve Charlotte’s Raging Fire, as well as the Ice Fang, Gale Force, and Rock Riot spells to unlock John Morris and get access to the Iron Ball.
  • Evolve the Alucard Spear into the Thunderbolt Spear and the Iron Ball into the Wrecking Ball to unlock Shanoa.
  • Complete one stage with Shanoa and then Juste Belmont (or vice versa) to unlock Maria Renard.
  • Evolve Maria’s Guardian’s Targe into the Sacred Beasts Tower Shield to unlock Richter.
