How to unlock FFXIV Viper Job in Dawntrail

If you’ve ever had aspirations to wield more than one big blade in Final Fantasy XIV, then Dawntrail has good news for you. Viper, one of the two new Jobs added in the expansion, not 🅰only gives you two swords to 🅺swing around, but you can also combine them.

Viper is, arguably, one of the most anticipated additions to FFXIV from the entire Dawntrail exp🦩ansion, and if you’re hoping to 🅘wield the dual blades, then you’ll need to have completed the following things:

  • Reach level 80 in at least one Disciple of War or Magic class
  • Own a copy of Dawntrail and have it registered to your account

If you’ve met these requirements, you can head to Uldah – Steps of Nald in order to unlock the Viper Job. Once there, find the Worried Weaver (X: 9.3 Y:9.2) and pick up the quest called “Enter the Viper”. This 🉐will provide you with your first ever Viper quesꦡt.

To complet꧅e this quest, you’ll need to do the following thin♎gs:

  •  Head to the Weaver’s Guild and talk to the So-called Viper (X:13.0, Y:12.2)
  •  Head to Camp Drybone and talk to Keshkwa (X:13.3, Y:23.8)
  •  You’ll come back to Ul’dah after a cutscene. Go back to the Weaver’s Guild and talk to Keshkwa again (X:13.0, Y:12.1) and select yes to become a Viper.

Once you’ve done this, you’ll be able to don the costume of the Viper, pick🔥 up both blades and charge iܫnto battle with a whole new repertoire of attacks to figure out.
