Maya has already played an important role in Zombies lore, and she has a noticeable presence in the two older regions – Terminus Island and Liberty Falls. The secret cutscene that’s found in Citadelle des Morts can be unlocked pretty easily once you know where to look. This cutscene also helps to expand on the lore of Maya and her relationship with her brother from what happened on Terminus.

Black Ops 6 Citadelle des Morts secret Maya cutscene explained

There are certain requirements that have to be taken care of if you want to unlock the cutscene. You’ll have to equip Maya from the loadout screen if you want to access the cutscene. Next, start a new match from Zombies and make sure to equip the Citadelle des Morts map. You c🍰an play with a squad, but playing solo will let you focus more on the task at hand.

The exact location you have to find is inside the castle. Head to the F0 coordinates, where you’ll find the Vulture Aid machine. This spot is found on the eastern side of the map. Near the machine, you’ll find a table with a radio sitting on top of it.

If you reach the spot too early, I likely won’t work, and you’ll have to wait till the radio is active. Once it’s active, interact with it, and the nearby door (right beside it) will stay unlocked. Go inside it to access a secret region.

First, you’ll encounter a few vermin in this location, so go ahead and eliminate them. Next, you’ll come across a mini-boss, whom you’ll need to defeat as well. This mini-boss will drop a key – pick it up, and take the path that leads straight ahead. This will activate the special cutscene involving Maya in Black Ops 6. It’s a really cool easter egg, even if you don’t get any in-game advantages out of it.
