If you play your cards right, then ♛using a Red Lantern could get you some nice loot, but they inherently come with a lot of risk, so keep that in mind. If you have a lot of Vigꦰor on you, it might be best to just get to a Vestige and cash that in.

Red Lanterns can appear in your game when you are playing online. They can be all over the game and should just be floating slightly a꧋bove the ground with some red butterflies coming off them. When you see a Red Lantern, use your Umbral Lamp to Soulflay it, just like you would a memory stigma. This will cause red butterflies to appear𒈔, and if you follow them, it will lead you to a special enemy.

This enemy will have claimed the life of another player in another game, and you can seek revenge for them if you like. The reason to be cautious is that they will be a bit more powerful and have more health, as they have been feasting on the soul of the unfortunate Lampbearer that they killed. You will know that you are fighting the right enemy because they will actually have a name, making them very unique among the lesser enemies in﷽ the game, as usually only the bosses have a name. By killing them, you will get s♌ome Plucked Eyeballs.

What to do with Plucked Eyeballs

Plucked Eyeballs can be traded in at the Shrine of the Purid Mother in Skyrest. This is found in the same room where you find the weird trader, Molhu. Go to Skyrest, and from where Pieta is standing, go in the door and u❀p the steps that are almost directly across 🔯from her.

You can choose to spend your Plucked Eyeballs on available items, or you can donate them to community-driven targets to unlock new items. What you do is up to you, b𒀰ut there will always be fallen Lampbearers out there ꦛwho need vengeance.

If you are struggling to take out the same enemies that keep killing your fellow players, make sure you get your hands on some rune sockets for your weapons to get ahead of the power curve.
