1up has that Guitar Hero III will be seeing a patch addressing the complaints many people have had with the game’s lack of offline co-op. The patch — of which only a 360 version has been so far revealed (though a Wii and PS3 version are assumed) — will appear on the XBLM shortly to coincide with the game hitting store shelves.

Why offline co-op wasn’t included in the original design is sort of a mystery. Obviously Guitar Hero lends itself well to play with others, and even with the stereotype that gamers are all antisocial troglodytes, someone at the Neversoft office must have quipped “but what if one of them has friends?” Of course, that person was then rewarded for their insolence by being clubbed repeatedly with bags of cash and THPS-branded skateboards, but the idea was out there and according to this entirely fictional scenario, there is absolutely no reason why the mode wasn’t coded into the game innately.

In other news, rampant speculation based on imagined scenarios has recently revealed the existence of one true deity and belief system. For m෴ore details please visit any church or place of religious worship throughou꧋t the history of mankind.

Ooooooh! Topical!
