Infinity Nikki: How to find and complete the Bug Catcher’s Cabin Curio Doman

Curiouser and curiouser

Curio Domains are littered throughout Miraland in Infinity Nikki, taking the shape of portals that expand from glowing boxes in the wilderness. Each Curio Domain offers you the chance to get a Whimstar, but not all are created equal, and some are much more difficult to complete♚ than others.

One of the more challenging Curio Domains that you’re likely to come across early into your playthrough can be found just north ♚of Bug Catcher Cabin in Breezy Meadow, close to a hut on the hill, as sꦑhown on the image below:

To get there, head directly north and a little toward the west, and use Momo’s Whimstar Detection Ability to track it down. Finding it ꧙is the easy part, and the fun really starts once you get inside.

The challenge inside this Curio Domain is made up of equal parts memory game and jumping puzzle, which is my idea of a nightmare even if it’s not yours. When you enter the Curio Domain, you’ll see a group of platforms jutting out from the wall in🍸 front of you. Some will be red, while others are g෴reen.

To solve th🐷is Curio Domain and get yourself a shiny new Whimstar, you’ll need to memorize the pattern of the platforms in order to jump up the wall while avoiding any that are red. As you approach 🍸the wall, all of the platforms will turn blue, leaving you with only your memory to rely on.

Or, if you want a cheat sheet, here’s 🌟a screenshot of the wal🍌l before the colors change:

The pattern is🐭 relatively simple. On the bottom and top rows, you’ll need to🍸 avoid every other platform. This can be done with short jumps. On the middle row, you’ll need to avoid two platforms, with the third being safe to land on. To do this, you’ll need to utilize Nikki’s floating ability to make the jump.

When you reach the end of each row of༺ platforms, you’ll need to use charged jumps to get up t🌄o the next row. Don’t worry if it takes you a few tries, practice makes perfect.

Once you reach the top, you’ll have a cl🧜ear path to the Whimstar held within and picking it up will transport you back to Miraland, depositing you outside of the portal into the Curio Domain. This memory-cross-jumping puzzle mechanic repeats in a few other Curio Domains, and now you know exactly how to overcome the challenge.
