The Firework Season will run until February 25 and is set to include a whole new range of features, a story to play through, and obviously a ton of new outfits to collect. There ar𒈔e some adorable new ability outfits coming our way, a whole new area of the map to explore, and we’ve bee🤪n given our first look at the new Firework Season limited-time banners.

Glam up your outfits with new arrivals in 1.2

As part of the new season of events, there will be two new limited-time Resonance banners, each with one four a🙈nd one five-star outfit.

The Skyward Bouquets banner will include the five-star Stardust Flare dress𒉰, which is a frankly gorgeous black gown surrounded by ever-explodi☂ng fireworks. Also included on this banner will be the four-star Midnight Vigil, which I’m a little too excited about.

The Midnight Vigil outfit is not only impossibly cute, but it also comes with a very special ability that will cause any animal you groom while wearin꧋g it to follow you in a line, as though you’re a parade leader and they are your floats. Whether you want a train of Bibcoons or Floofs at your heel, this is the outfit you need to make that happen.

The Fireworks Prelude banner will feature two new outfits as well. The five-star Dance Till Dawn outfit looks like something that wouldn’t be out of place at tea with the Mad Hatter and will allow you to glide around the Abandoned District and Firework Isles. The four-star Eternal Bond outfit follows the same theme, although with a much more mysterious vibe rather than cutesy, and comes complete wit𓂃h falling cards around you. Sadly, this one doesn’t have any use in terms of ability, but it’s still very cool.

There are💜 also a myri🙈ad of other, more easily obtained outfits as well. As part of the expanding story, players will be able to get the Fiery Glow outfit, and the Endless Longing outfit will be obtained as part of an event during the season.

Of course, there are a bunch of new outfits coming to the store as well, including one that will cause Momo to join in as part of a musical ensemble while you ℱwear it, and the stunning Cloudborne Dreams outfit that comes complete with a 🎀beautiful lace umbrella.

As part of the update, we’ll be getting a whole new area of the map to explore, opening up the world of Miraland and providing a whole bunch of new content and quests to play through. During the 1.2 livestream, it was revealed that the next part of the main quest is called “Glowing Fireworks”, which will have strong ties to the next event, Carnival of Fireworks. Apparently, we’ll see a whole new side to boutique owner Marques, and face off against a new boss known as “The Dark Bouqueꦿt”.

There will be a lot of new things to experience while exploring Firewo𝄹r📖k Isles, including:

  • Whirl-A-Pony, a carousel to ride
  • Fireworks Carriage, a horse-drawn carriage that will take you into the sky alongside a friend
  • Fireworks Dance, where you can test different dances caused by specific outfits
  • Portable Fireworks, which will let you create fireworks and set them off
  • Whim Balloons, a new type of Whimstar to collect

Upcoming events, incoming experiences

We were also given a summary of events ෴that are going to feature after 1.2 drops, including the Carnival of Fireworks, which will offer unspecified rewards and will be deeply tied to the next phase of the main story.

Past that, there will be two more events to take part in, each with its own quest li🅠nes and rewards

  • New Bloom Festival
    • “Hailing from the Linglang Empire, this event is all about enjoying the arts. Complete all tasks to get the Pipa Ability Outfit!”
  • New Horizons Day
    • “Experience the Hot Air Balloon feature as you float towards Breezy Meadow from the Firework Isles!”

Unfortunately, we don’t have exact dates for any of these specific events, but it’s safe to assume that they will be happening in the near future, so keep 🍸your 🌟eyes peeled for any updates.
