An Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Game Pass debut would be magnificent for Xbox and PC gamers. It looks promising, unlike the original Ubisoft Avatar game. Here’s what we know about Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora on Xbox Game Pass.
Can you play an Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Game Pass version?
As of the time of writing, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora won’t be on Xbox Game Pass from day one. Similar to Assassin’s Creed Mirage this year, it isn’t confirmed for Microsoft’s premiere game service. This is just speculation, but it’s likely that Ubisoft needs to sell many copies of the game to offset the licensing cost to Disney (which now owns 20th Century Fox) before it heads to Xbox Game Pass.
There is no timeline as to when a Game Pass option will open up for this Avatar game. All we know is that there are two Ubisoft games on the service currently: Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Are there any Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora special editions?
If you want to play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora on day one, you’ll likely need to buy the game at full price. We’ll update this article if this changes. If you’re that interested in the game, you may want to consider purchasing the special editions.
The Collector’s Edition is only available to GameStop Pro members. It has a 35cm statue, a steelbook, and a 128-page art book from the developer Ubisoft Massive, among other items. It’s $229.99. It has the Ultimate Edition contents too, as stated below.
If you’re up for a cheaper option, there’s the Gold Edition. It comes with the game, steel book case, the season pass, a bonus mission, the Resistance Banshee Mount, and Resistance Equipment Pack for $109.99 (digital) or $119.99 (physical at GameStop).
Lastly, there’s the Ultimate Edition. It comes with everything the Gold Edition has, as well as the Sarenty Herative Cosmetic Pack and the Sarentu Hunter Equipment Pack.
Despite the delay, I hope Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora impresses gamers this December.
