Neuvillette is a powerful 5-star Hydro DPS character in Genshin Impact, but do you need him? Here’s a pu⭕ll value analysis for Neuvillette, including his ♉Constellations and signature weapon.
Is Neuvillette good?
Neuvillette is one of the strongest DPS characters in Genshin Impact. With the right builds, Neuvillette can clear Spiral Abyss chambers entirely on his own. He’s uniquely suited𒈔 for solo clears, too, since he can heal himself and his skill cooldowns allow for mostly uninterrupt🐼ed Charged Attack spam.
However, just being strong does not mean you must pull for a character. There are plenty of ways to reach the required DPS checks in the Spiral Abyss. Neuvillette’s strength can help justify your decision to pull for him, but if you weren’t interested in him to begin with, then there are plenty of other ways to clear difficult content in Genshin Impact.

Are Neuvillette’s Constellations worth it?
Neuvillette’s Constellations make him stronger and more flexible. His early Constellations are quite good, but don’t provide any novel gameplay experiences until Constellation 6. If you’re considering Constellations for Neuvillette, I recommend stopping at Constellation 1 or 3.
Constellation 1 improves Neuvillette’s damage in teams with another Hydro teammate and makes him com𝓀pletely immune to stagger effects during his Charged Attacks𒁏. If you find yourself being swatted out of the air while trying to use a Charged Attack, then this Constellation might be worth it for you.
Constellation 2 grants N🌳euvillette a stacking CRIT DMG bonus on his Charged Attacks, depending on how many types of reactions he triggers. This is a straightforward damage increase for most Neuvillette teams.
Neuvillette’s Constellation 3 increases his Normal Attack Talent by three levels, which increases his Charged Attack scaling. This is another straightforward increase to Neuvi🉐llette’s primary damage source.
Constellations 4 through 6 help to make Ne🌟uvillette a solo powerhouse, able to deal damage 🐼and sustain himself indefinitely. I don’t recommend pulling for these unless you’re intent on using Neuvillette to solo difficult content.
Is Neuvillette’s weapon worth pulling?
Neuvillette’s signature 5-star Catalyst, Tome of the Eternal Flow, is technically his best weapon. However, his next-best option is a 4-star Battle Pass weapon: Sacrificial Jade. The gap between Tome of the Eternal Flow and Sacrificial Jade is fairly small, especially if you refine Sacrificial Jade. The Battle Pass weapon costs $10 per Refinement, so Sacrificial Jade will cost between $10-50 depending on hoꦐw many Refinements you want. Depending on your Primogem situation, Sacrificial Jade may be the more cost-effective option for ൩Neuvillette.

Sacrificial Jade’s primary drawback is that it requires Neuvillette to periodically spend time off-field. This isn’t an issue if you have a full team, but if you intend to run solo Neuvillette, Sacrificial Jade simply will not work. If you are playing solo Neuvillette 🐎with no teammates, then you should consider pulling for Tome of the Eternal Flow.
