Is Payday 3 crossplay?

PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S thieves causing crime together

Payday 3 crossplay would allow you to work on heists with your friends across all platforms. Most multiplayer games in 2023 support the feature, so it would make sense. It would be a neat change as the last game doesn’t support it. Here’s everything we know about Payday 3 crossplay.

Does Payday 3 support crossplay?

Payday 3 crossplay is officially supported by the developer.

You can play the game with your friends on Xbox Series X or S and PC if you have a PS5 copy of Payday 3. “You will also be able to avail of cross-progression, so you can heist from your preferred platform at any time,” says the from developer Starbreeze Entertainment.

How to gain early access to Payday 3

If you want to play Payday 3 with your friends early, however, you’ll need to buy a special edition. Both the Silver Edition and Gold Edition includes access to this multiplayer title three days early. You’ll gain a few special cosmetics like the Statue of Liberty-inspired Skull of Liberty mask with the Gold Edition.

Payday 3 on PC might be tough to run, depending on your budget. The system requirements aren’t too taxing for many though. The minimum specs are:

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-9400F
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1650 (4 GB)

The recommended specs are:

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-9700K
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1080 (8GB)

It might become costly, so it’s a relief that you can check out the game with your PC friends on a PS5 or an Xbox Series X|S. Unfortunately, Payday 3 isn’t free-to-play.
