Is the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Gold Edition worth buying

Gold Standard

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has two available options for buyers, and the Gold Edition is the premium experienceꦗ you might be looking for.

The Gold Edition is the more expensive choice and an alternate if you don’t want to acquire the Standard Edition. Since you’re paying extra, you’ll also get extra content related to the game. Before you buy, it’s always important to assess if the extra content is something you want to experience, or if it’s a better idea to save your money.

Let’s take a look at what the Gold Edition has to offer compared to the Standard Edition, and whether it’s worth the extra bucks.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Gold Edition Price and Contents

The base game of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, aka the Standard Edition, will cost $59.99 on PC and $69.99 on consoles. The Standard Edition offers the base game but nothing extra. Of course, the pre-order bonus (active as of writing) is available for both editions, and you’ll get an exclusive quest that allows you to obtain Knight Brunswick’s armor and weapon set.

For $10 extra, here’s the complete list of everything you get with the Gold Edition.

  • Base Game
  • Gallant Huntsman’s Kit
  • 3 Upcoming Expansions
  • Shields of Season Passing

Now, interestingly enough, the Gallant Huntsman’s Kit is an exclusive available only with the Gold Edition. The upcoming expansions and Shields of Season Passing will be available with the Expansion Pass (yet to become available on Steam).

Should you buy Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Gold Edition

If you loved the first game and believe in the abilities of Warhorse Studios, paying the $10 at this stage is worth it. We have no id💛ea about how much the Expansion Pass is going to cost. If I had to guess, I would suppose that it would cost more than the additional price you pay for yo🦩ur Gold Edition.

Three expansions (excluding all other bonuses) for $10, in the world of AAA games, and $100 Deluxe Editions is a good deal. Additionally, you’ll also get the Gallant Huntsman’s Kit, which is exclusive to the premium version of the game.

Ultimately, it’s your choice if you want the base game for now — you can always pick up the Expansion Pass in the future. For casual players, this will be the way to go. But if you’re someone looking to spend plenty of hours in the game and clear every side quest possible, the Gold Edition will be the perfect option to begin your adventure in the 15th-century medieval times.
