Iwata reminds us that the 3DS Miiverse is coming

No mention of the Dafoeverse, sadly

, Nintendo Presi♓dent Satoru Iwata dove into some interesting topics, most notably and how it came about. Iwata also reiterates that the Wii U GamePad can transcend just a gaming audience with multimedia.

Although the history of the Miive✃rse has been tou🐽ched on before, he also reminds us that a 3DS Miiverse is coming:

Once the Miiverse hits the 3DS, it will be huge. Just imagine the possibilities of playing Animal Crossing: New Le☂af while sharing your experiences on the Miiverse. Now that’s something!

In some ways it’s easy to get snarky about how Nintendo is finally catching up with the rest of the industry from a technological infrastructure standpoint: but mostly, it’s just nice to see Nintendo actually heading forward and trying new things.
