When there’s no police, who will police the police?
Despite being beyond long in the tooth from an innovation standpoint, the LEGO adventure titles continue to sell well worldwide. The latest in a long line of identikit titles, LEGO DC Super-Villains, is all set for release next week and Warner Bros. Interactive has released a final madcap trailer to get folks in the mood for mꦯore bricktastic action.
In the new game, persistent annoyance Darkseid is causing mayhem on planet Earth, and with the Justice League indisposed, it’s up to an original character of your design and the rogue’s gallery of DC villains to throw the proverbial spanner in his works. Harley Quinn, Reverse Flash, Captain Cold and, of course, The Joker will all be on-hand to help you in your quest, and probably cause a ton of trouble en route.
The new trailer also sees the introduction of The Justice Syndicate, a squad of villains who take it upon themselves to police the community, leading to what appears to be a civil war among DC’s bad eggs. Who will come out on top? Will you die repeatedly during awkward jumping sections? Will the PC version be crammed with game-breaking bugs?
