The previously delayed Life is Strange: Remastered Collection is going live soon, but one platform will be taking some extra time. In a new announcement, the Life is Strange team confirms that the Switch version of the Remastered Collection will launch later in 2022.

The Life is Strange collection, which includes remasters of the first Life is Strange and its prequel Before the Storm, will still launch on Feb. 1 for PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Stadia. The development team also says there’s some more planned to show off before the launch date too, including an extended look at the collection on Jan. 25.

Nintendo confirmed that Switch versions of Life is Strange: Remastered Collection and True Colors were on the way at last year’s E3 Direct. And while True Colors is , looks like Life is Strange fans will have to wait a little longer than expected to take the adventures of Chloe and Max on the go. The team says it will need “a bit more time” until the Switch versions of the earlier Life is Strange games are ready.

Life is Strange: Remastered Collection is still due out on Feb. 1 for other platforms however. It will head back to the first game and its prequel, following the time-bending powers of Max Caulfield, who finds herself tangled up in mystery and impending disaster. Before the Storm was also developed by Deck Nine, the studio that’s gone on to make last year’s excellent Life is Strange: True Colors.

Though these versions will take a little extra time, that hopefully means the Switch versions will arrive in a solid state. And here’s a few fingers crossed for an eventual Life is Strange 2 port, too.
