See you, space cowboy
Hey all. After today’s post, I’m officially gone from Destructoid. I’ve got to say that it’s been one hell of a ride. I came in back in 2010 as a pretentious 19-year-old and I’m leaving as a 22-year old with nothing but opportunities. My time at Dtoid has been an insane whirlwind of some amazing people. During my tenure I’ve been an intern, a community manager, a streamer, and finally the head of Dtoid.tv.
In retrospect I’ve put in a ton of work but it’s never felt like it. I guess what they say about loving your job is true. While it’s true that today is the last show on Dtoid.tv for the immediate future there are so many things that will fill the space. It’s true that Phil and I have (thanks guys) but I’m sure you’ll find something new.
So it’s with a heavy heart that I have to hang up my Dtoid helmet for the last time. Want to send Phil and I off with a bang? We’re doing two hours of show at starting at 2PM PDT before we move over to at 4PM PDT. There will be secret games so make sure you don’t miss it.
–Looks back into the room. Turns off the light. Fade to dark.–
