Metal Gear Solid Delta producer apologizes to fans for not having a concrete release date

Konami recently unveiled a lot of information about Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater during Tokyo Game Show 2024, and However, this remake still doesn’t have an official release date yet.

As reported by on , during Konami’s presentation, the game’s producer Noriaki Okamura apologized for this lack of information and clarified that he and his team don’t want to make any promises that they can’t keep. He also confirmed that they are working hard on the game and asked fans to “please wait a little longer”.

After all, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a remake of the original 2005 game, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, which is often considered to be one of the best įƒ¦and most accessible entriesā™‹ in the entire franchise. So there’s definitely a lot of pressure on Okamura and his team to deliver a product that is of equal high quality as the original PS2 title. However, based on all the recently released images and videos, it seems like the project is going in the right direction.

Will Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater even come out in 2024?

After it’s initial announcement on May 2023, most fans speculated that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater was most likely going to come out in 2024. On top of that, PlayStation later released a video that clearly labeled MGS Delta as one of its . However, 2024 only has 3 months left before it ends and, without a concrete release date set in stone, it’s most likely that the company already has plans to delay it to 2025.

It’s important to keep in mind that the most recent entry in the series, the spin-off Metal Gear Survive, came out more than 6 years ago, in February 2018. Not to mention that the last Hideo Kojima-directed Metal Gear game, The Phantom Pain, came out 9 yešŸŸars ago, in 2015. Based on on social media websites like , it is evident that fans can patiently wait a few more months for the release of such a highly-anticipated remake.
