Monster Hunter Wilds Heroics: How to use and is it worth the risk?

It鈥檚 馃敎a skill that sounds powerful on paper, but with a risky drawback. Below, we鈥檒l go over the best way to use it and if it 馃幎is actually worth using in the game.

How to use Heroics in Monster Hunter Wilds

To start, you need to activate the skill by dropping below 35% of your maximum HP. You鈥檒l receive a defense buff at Level 1. At max level, you’ll get a 30% increase in Attack power with a huge defense boost.

However, the defense boost isn’t enough to ensure your survival.

Once it鈥檚 activated, you can’t patch yourself back up to full health and continue to reap the benefits. You have to stay at or below 35% health to have this active.

This buff is best-utilized solo, to prevent w馃惙asting ge軎噈 or equipment slots. You should also dismiss your Palico to prevent periodic auto-heals.

Is Heroics worth it?

If you鈥檙e an experienced Monster Hunter player and know how to dodge enemy attacks軎 reliably, t鈽俬e Heroics skill is definitely worth it.

The attack buff alone at higher ranks can shave m馃inutes from your hunt with the right builds. 饟唹It鈥檚 a skill that speed runners often use.

That said, if you鈥檙e 馃惣still learning the ropes and g鉂€etting hit often, you should probably avoid Heroics for now. 聽
