These days, if you take a short nap, you might miss a video game launch. I felt that way about Detective Pikachu Returns this week, and I’m one of the few who actually played the original (that’s just how 2023 is going! It’s an onslaught, folks). But even if you don’t partake in the recently-released digital follow-up, you can still order a Pokemon-branded coffee cup cozy soon.

, which includes details for Switch Online icons (which include a few general-purpose Pokemon avatars) and printable stationary/wallpapers, as well as a new My Nintendo physical reward: the aforementioned coffee cozy. It’s yellow, it’s cute, and it’ll fit around a cup. You also get the satisfaction of knowing that it’s not random big box store Pikachu merch, because this rat even has a hat; and there’s magnifying glass/lightbulb imagery to let you know that the cozy is from Detective Pikachu.

Here are all the details we have from Nintendo:

“Everyone knows that Detective Pikachu loves coffee—now he can keep yours warm (or cold!) with this adorable Detective Pikachu Returns Cup Cozy. This physical reward is coming. Stay Tuned!”

As far as the My Nintendo storefront is concerned, “stay tuned” could mean anywhere from 1-7 days for the actual listing to pop up. While a Platinum Point price hasn’t popped up yet, the lowest-cost comparable item in the store currently is 400p, so expect it to be in the 400-1000 range when it arrives.

If you need more platinum, we got you covered!
