Activision’s PS1 remake Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is already running v🧸ictory laps on multiple platforms, having been received positively by critics and fansꦍ. However, the classic kart racer is still suffering from some niggling issues, with a new patch hoping to iron out these creases.

First and foremost, the Nintendo Switch 1.05 update will be confronting the ongoing woes with Nitro-Fueled’s sluggish load times. Utilising the Switch hardware’s boost mode (which temporarily overclocks the console’s CPU) the new update should hopefully allow budding racers to get on the starting grid a whole lot faster.

Across all platforms, the new update will also improve various elements of online play, including stability, lobby population and the frequency o🌳f random course selection. Various recent exploits, pertaining to power-up cooldowns and lap manipulation, will also be stamped out, hopefully eradicating some mid-race shenanigans.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is avail♒able now on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
