2K Games, Firaxis Games, and Civilization creator himself Sid Meier took the stage at Summer Game Fest 2024 to reveal the next chapter in the popular strategy game franchise, Civilization 7. Almost a decade and six DLC packs later, Civilization 6 is one year away from no longer being the current Civilization game. We don’t know too much about it yet other than its existence, but the trailer indicated a gameplay showcase is prepared for August of this year.
Sid Meier’s Civilization VII is scheduled𝐆 to release in 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, N꧋intendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
