[Update: As you can see from our comments section below, this has b🅠een a messy issue. when word got out that one buyer got over 200 co🐠pies and is now selling them on eBay. Disgusting. Thanks to our readers for informing us of this for this issue.]
These past few days, several of our readers let us know that they’re having concerns with their order of the highly coveted special edition of Namco Bandai RPG Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. Messages on issues ranging from credit card charging issues to to canceled orders have h⛦it our inbox and tips lines.
One of the main issues is that those that worked to get a pre-order in for the Wizard’s Edition were later hit with cancelation emails and offered a $20 coupon for their troubles. Or worse, they’re not sure of the status of their order at all. This contains several people having similar issues with their orders and customer service. ‘s own forums are also ablaze with others having the same problem.
The problem seems to lie specifically with orders direct from Namco Bandai (Digital River). Customers are being told that they have no idea if or when their orders will be shipped, and that orders cannot be canceled. Second run orderers are freaking out wondering if they’re getting a copy or not. A system error could be at fault.
