So, to help you understand this mechanic more, here is an article on everything you need to know about the new ‘Temperature’ mechanic in Once Human

What is the Temperature mechanic in Once Human?

With the new introduction of the Temperature mechanic, you will experience both hot and cold weather in Once Human. Not only that, you are not just affected by the weather but also any environmental items that can influence the temperature around it. Let’s say if you are holding a torch or a Molotov Cocktail, you will start feeling hotter. Not just with the things; if you are near ice, you will feel cold, and if you are near lava, you will feel hotไ.

To help you resist the weather, you can equip heat-resistant and cold-resistant gear to survive the temp🧸erature. You can also grow Spikematoes, Polar Peppers, and Sunny Ginger crops, as using them can help you tackle the cold weather.

The Way of the Winter update in Once Human also brings a new building called Thermal Towerꦐ, which lets you control the temperature around you. Plus, it also lets you increase the crop yield and speed up the production facilities. However, you have to defend this tower from the Colosꦰsal Chaosweavers.
