While OnLive had been available for customers since June, it’s been a fairly bare-bones service for the most part, but it looks like that’s about to change. With 40 titles in their catalog and a release date for the Microconsole device, things are really starting to pick up with the service. However, in addition to announcing the Microconsole release date, OnLive also announced plans for a brand new flat-rate plan for OnLive consumers.

We were lucky enough to talk with OnLive CEO Steve Perlman earlier this month. Concerning plans for the flat-rate service, he couldn’t go into specifics about the pricing or what specific games players could expect to recieve with the service. However, he did mention what type of games we could see. For example, older sports titles could show up as a part of this service, as well as unknown indie games. Some of these games may have a little less polish than the flagship titles for the service, but OnLive is hoping to offer a broader swath of options for players.

As a matter of fact, talking with Perlman indicates that the company is going to be making a much larger push for new content. With an estimated 50 titles out by Christmas, and content ranging from Aliens vs Predator to The Maw, there really is at least🔥 one or two games to a꧟ppeal to any taste.
