Persona 3 Reload Quest 7 guide: Where to find Juzumaru

A two-for-one gift for Junpei and Elizabeth

In Persona 3 Reload, Elizabeth, the Velvet Room attendant, will ask for items ranging from game consoles to two-handed swords, with Juzumaru being one of many she’ll request. Here’s how to find Juzumaru so you can complete another request and obtain the Makouha skill as your reward.

Juzumaru is a sword found in Tartarus’ Arqa block on Floor 36. After defeating the Floor 36 boss, you’ll encounter two purple chests, each requiring Twilight Fragments to open. The chest on the left, which needs three fragments to open, has Juzumaru, while the other contains a Balm of Life.

You’ll need five Twilight Fragments if you want to open both chests. Fortunately, if you don’t have enough, you can leave and return later using the two-way teleporter without fighting the floor boss again. The chests won’t disappear, so you can open them after returning to claim your prize. It’s important to return here later for the sword, as you can’t visit a weapon shop to purchase it.

Once you have the Juzumaru sword, return to Elizab﷽eth outside the Velvet Room to report back and receive the Makouha skill. Doing so wraps up her seventh request, bringing you one step closer to finishing th꧒e entire list.

You’ll also keep the sword, allowing you to use it on Junpei to boost his stats if you have yet to buy an upgrade for him. Equipping Juzumaru on to Junpei will reward you with the following stat upgrades:

  • Attack – 107
  • Accuracy – 95
  • Effect – Critical rate up (low)

Juzumaru will significantly boost your attack while keeping your accuracy relatively high. It also slightly increases your critical rate, improving your odds of stunning enemies even if your attack is not one of their weaknesses. In other words, if you’re fighting a Shadow with no weaknesses or an elemental one, you can still weaken it and initiate an all-out attack on Junpei’s turn without swapping to another character and risking having your party members damaged by attacks.
