The console ports have gone hand-in-hand with the game’s recent Halloween “Crimson Eye” patch, which features the Blood Moon event, and some tweaks to the game. This includes – according to the – optimization improvements, the ability to invite people via your Steam friend’s list, crossplay with the aforementioned PS5 and Xbox releases, plus plenty of fixes.

The console ports of Phasmophobia have felt like a long time coming. The game originally launched for PC back in September 2020 and – perhaps because of the pandemic which saw gami⛄ng experience a massive uptick in popularity as billions were confined to their homes – the indie horror game became a massive success.

Kinetic has been promis🥂ing PlayStation and Xbox versions for some time now, so it feels like a relief to many that they can now get stuck into♉ the ghost hunting phenomenon. So long as the developer keeps an eye on any issues that are plaguing console players.
