Sup Holmes every Sunday!

[Sup Holmes is a weekly talk show for people that make great video games. It airs live every Sunday afternoon on , and can be found in podcast form on  and .]

One of the things that I love about doing Sup Holmes is getting to meet people who helped pioneered indie game development 20-plus years ago one week, then getting to know their metaphorical “children” the next.

Such was the case with these two episodes. First we we got to know , programmer on IGF-winning, physics-based platformer Gish and creator of the gun-jamming, crime-loving, psychological tactics shooter Sub Rosa. Then weeks later, we got to meet the mysterious , a man using many of the game design philosophies pioneered by Austin over ten years ago to🌌 bring Danny Devito, a chainsaw wielding bear, and a floppy burrito-loving man to life. What a treat!

Thanks to Alex and Hunter for hanging out with us, and be sure to when welcome James and Joar, creators of Rain World, yet another violent, physics-based adventure game with random elements. It’s going to be great!
