Pokémon Champions will be a Pokémon battle-focused title that is still under development and has no set release date. It has a motto of “bringing Pokémon battles to everyone,” and the early gameplay looks a lot like what Pokémon Stadium was.

From the early looks of Pokémon Champions, the title won’t include the traditional player adventure we see in the main series titles like Scarlet and Violet. However, it will still have some sort of system to obtain new Pokémon to play with, as it mentions you can “partner up” with Pokémon in Champions.

Pokémon Champions will launch on the Nintendo Switch “family of systems”, which likely means it will release on both the original Switch and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, as well as on Android and iOS.

Pokémon Champions will include HOME connectivity and let you play with the Pokémon you own from Scarlet, Violet, and GO.
