If you’re just starting out in Pokémon Go, it’s best to begin with the lower-tier Raids if they are available. It is also possible to encounter Shiny variants, but their chances of spawning are fairly low.
You’ll typically need a team to last longer in the Raids, especially for the more formidable fights. On the other hand, trainers do have the choice to try out solo in the One to Three Star ranks. Then, once you get to higher tiers, such as Five Stars and Mega, you should opt in for a group.
Some Raid Pokémon are exclusive to speꦍcific regions, es𓆏pecially when special events are going on. Thus, the battles for these particular creatures depend on your current location. Remote Raid Passes are available for those who want to access these unique types anywhere in the world.
You’ll also get the chance to try out the newest Max Battles featuring the Dynamax Pokémon from Sword and Shield. Participate in these showdowns from Sept. 10 to Oct. 1 and take down Dynamax Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Skwovet, and Wooloo. As you may expect, they’ll be more challenging than regular battles, given that these forms increase their powers and size. Fortunately, they’ll be on your side once the fight’s done, and you may even get a Shiny variant.
In addition to Rai👍ds and Max Battles, you can🔯 look forward to a few other events that will bring out more Pokémon in the wilds:

Once Go All Out concludes, the Go Big event begins. Fight aಌgainst the Dynamax Pokémon and embark on a Special Research story to earn the new avatar item, Max Particles.
Other events, like the September Community Day, are much more time-restrictive, so you must tune in before the day concludes. You can also look forward to bonuses while it’s active, from an increased Stardust intake to longer Lure Module durations.
