nWay’s colourful tag-fighter Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid continues to build upon its initially sparse launch, adding new features, twe🌼aking issues and revealing further roster additions as it continues to grow into a healthier fighting title.

The first major addition in Update 1.3 is support for crossplay between Xbox One 𓆏and Nintendo Switch players. PS4 players are left out of the party, of course, though nWay has expressed hopes to bring them on board in future. Speaking of multiplayer, Direct Search has been added, allowing players to specifically link to the gamertag of a 🍒player who is on a different platform, making crossplay battles easier to get up and running.

Three new characters have also been made available to purchase in-game. These include the original gold zero ranger, Trey of Triforia, the pink Time Force ranger Jen Scotts and, perhaps best of all, classic villain Lord Zedd, who pantomimed his way through the earlier Power Rangers series, where he 🌳featured in an amusingly antagonistic relationship with R💎ita Repulsa.

The trio of new characters are available as part of the Season One DLC pass, or can be purchased separately for about $6 each. Update 1.3 is live on all platforms right now. Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is available on PS4, Xbox One and Ninten▨do Switch, with a PC port tentatively scheduled for later this year.
