Quickest Platinum Crystal farm in The Way of Winter (30+ per run)

Time to get some Platinum Crystals - fast!

Platinum Crystals are always a bit of an issue in Once Human, especially towards the💮 start of the season. And with The Way of Winter being a little sparse of great farming spots, like BLackfell on the old map, you might be wondering where to find Platinum Crystals in The Way of𝓡 Winter.

I’ve got you covered, with a particular spot where you can easily grab 30+ Platinum Crystals in just 20 odd minutes. Let’s dive in.

Best Platinum Crystal farm in The Way of Winter

First, you’ll need to be in at least Phase 2 for this farm spot to open up for you. You’ll want to head for Sunshroud Cave, which can be found at the coordinates (-5892,7267) in Ember Strand – Land of Shadows.

There are two nearby towers to choose from, namely the🅠 Snakebelly and the Snakeye Pass Teleportation Tower. If you have a little extra time, I recommend going to the Snakeye Pass tower and grabbing a few Storage Crates from Snakeye Lookout on your way to the cave.

For this run, we’ll go to the closer of the two towers, however. Head northwest from the tower to find the cave. Make sure to pick up the crates outside before heading into the cave through the entrance.

As you enter the cave, you’ll immediately see two more storage crates. You can’t miss them! In the next room, you’ll find a whopping three weapon crates, two gear crates, and a storage crate. Be careful though, there’s a powerful Elite Enemy that spawns in this room, plus a few ads.

Head to the🌊 back of the room and up some stairs to enter 💎the next area.

Here you’ll met with another large room with plenty of loot. This is also the location of the Mystical Crate in case you haven’t found it yet.

There are two spots in particular in this room that you’ll want to go to once you’re done looting it. Those are highlighted in the below image.

For now, simply circle the room and grab all that you can. Watch out for the enemies though, there are loads in this room. As you reach the other side, you’ll find the first of the two places I highlighted in the above image.

Head down this cavern.

In this room, you’ll find more enemies and plenty more loot, but there’s also kind of a secret in this room. If you climb up the buildings that line the southern wall, you’ll find an almost invisible ladder which you can climb for two more storage crates (and potentially two more Platinum Crystals!).

With all the loot collected, head to the second spot, I highlighted, where you’ll find a ladder next to another storage crate. Climb the ladder to reach the last section of the cave.

Head through the fencing up top for two more storage crates and an Elite Enemy (he’s not very strong), and then keep heading down the cavern before you. You’ll run past some Hot Rock Ore, and reach what looks to be an exit from the cave (it is).

There’s a ladder here as well to your right. Look past the ladder to spot one final weapon crate.

Do be careful not to fall into the lava. I hear it’s bad for your short-term health.

And with that, we’ve reached the end of this little guide. I ended up with a healthy 29 Platinum Crystals after this run, which is actually unlucky. I almost always get thirty-plus. Happy Platinum Crystal hunting!
