Rock Band DLC adds that sweet, sweet Everclear

You’d think that, after years of music games, the potential for DLC would start to diminish. Also, you’d be mostly correct. Next Tuesday, three more tepid tracks will be released for Rock Band 3 and, well, they’re from Everclear, Mastodon, and Good Charlotte. 

Really?

Mastadon’s “Curl of the Burl” and “The Anthem” by Good Charlotte will cost you $1.99/200 Wii Points/160 Microsoft Points each if you choose to partake. Meanwhile, Everclear’s “Santa Monica,” easily the best of the trio, comes with an optional $0.99 upgrade to Pro Guitar status.
