THQ has revealed that it plans to support Saints Row: The Third for at least a year, with downloadable content planned for a twelve-month post-launch spread. That’s a lot of downloadable dildo helmets!
“Saints Row‘s digital ecosystem will contain the most comprehensive suite of digital content across our portfolio, including a season pass, micro-transactions, planned DLC offerings for nearly a year post launch, game add-ons, consumables and an in-game store,” said THQ CEO Brian Farrell.
According to Farrell, The Third is close to beating Saints Row 2‘s pre-order numbers, and “we’re still 15 weeks from launch.” Current pre-orders are double what Saints Row 2‘s were at this point in its development, which means the final numbers ought to see a significant bump.
If Saints Row: The Third isn’t good, I will kiss a cat directly on its anus.
