Samurai Shodown DLC character leaked via arcade app

Keep it on the hush-hush

We’ve been given an early glimpse at one of the upcoming DLC characters for SNK’s great fighting title Samurai Shodown. As leaked by the NESiCAxlive2 app – produced for use with the arcade release – Sogetsu Kazama is expected to join the roster at some point in the future.

The character was discovered by Twitter user , who simply spotted the character after they showed up in the app’s front end, which cycles images of random character every time you login. The find by Samurai Shodown producer Ysuyuki Oda.

Sogetsu Kazama made his first appearance in 1996’s Samurai Showdown IV, where the handsome samꦡurai works as a demon-slayer for the Sogetsu Clan. It is likely that Kazama will be made available as part of the second wave of character DLC, already confirmed for the stoic figh🏅ting title.

Samurai Shodown is available now on PS4 and Xbox One. PC and Nintendo♈ Switch ports are still ♛in the works.
