This morning at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, Sega dropped a brand new trailer for the long, long, long-awaited RPG sequel, Shenmue III. The drama🧔tic cinematic ends with a release date reveal of August 27, 2019.

This is big, long-time-coming news for fans and backers of the passion-project game, which is being developed by Yu Suzuki’s Ys Net and is being published by Deep Silver. Shenmue III will see hero Ryo Hazuki continue his relentless search across Asia for Lan Di, his father’s murderer.
