Sonic Rumble was initially a mobile-only title, but was later announced to launch on PC (via Steam). Sonic the Hedgehog fans are excited to play as all manner of different characters throughout the series’ history, such as Knuckles, Amy, and Espio. If the game attains a certain amount of on mobile platforms and Steam (likely in the form of wishlisting), players will have the movie version of the iconic titular character unlocked, in addition to a Garnet-themed Knuckles skin.

So far, fans have been able to unlock 5,000 Rings and a Happy♉ sticker as part of the pre-registration rewards. The next goal is the Crystal Chao buddy, which unlocks at 600K pre-registrations.

Plenty of success for the hedgehog

The Blue Blur has been on a roll recently with his latest film Sonic the Hedgehog 3 making over $480 million worldwide at the box office (via ). While the next mainline game hasn’t been announced yet, fans are anticipating the new kart racing title Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, which will have a mix of Sonic and Sega characters β€” unlike the last entry.

Whatever the next mainline entry is, it will be hard to topple the Genesis classics like Sonic 3 and Knuckles from 1994. The Sonic Rumble delay is certainly a bummer, but at least thಞere are many games to play and many movies to watch from 🐽this Sega character to keep you entertained for now.
