OK K.O! Let’s Be Heroes is doing a crossover episode with Sonic the Hedgehog on August 4, and my goodn🌸es✤s, just look at the little punk! I hope he channels some of that .

The wacky Cartoon Network show is jam-packed with loving nods to video games and gaming culture in general, so I can only imagine how many references the new episode, “Let’s Meet Sonic,” will manage to fit in. Even just this short first-look footage out of San Diego Comic-Con has a few nostalgic riffs.

It’s also that Roger Craig Smith and Colleen O’Shaughnessey are lending their familiar voices. The OK K.O.! Sonic and Tails special will debut on Sunday, August 4 at 4:45pm Eastern on Cartoon Network. If you have access to the on iOS or Android, that’ll work too.

I don’t watch OK K.O.! (or much TV at all these days), but every clip I’ve seen has . If I had kids, this would be one of those shows that I, the ancient adult, would not-so-sneakily love.
