One year after its announcement, Compulsion Games finally gave fans a first look at South of Midnight’s gameplay.
South of Midnight is a third-person action-adventure game set in the American Deep South, and follows a weaver named Hazel who has been tasked with repair tears in the universe by taking down mythical creatures. Compulsion described the project as a wide linear game, meaning there will be limits to how much players will be able to explore the bayou. South of Midnight launches worldwideꦅ in 2025 on Game Pass, Xbox Series X|𝄹S, and Steam.

This is Compulsion Game’s first project since We Happy Few in 2018, which was set in a dystopian English city and combined role-playing, survival, and roguelike elements. South of Midnight is a much different project but it still features some of that signature🌊 Compulsion Games flair.
